Bridal by the Sea ~ Three images to share Aug 6 2012

Just wanted to share with you some very different styles of bouquets there are all different but wonderful in their own way.  The flowers above are all orchids, we love orchids they give such an elegant feel with just a bit of color added in with the greenery

This beautiful gathering is white roses, white hydrangea and variegated hosta leaves at the base for just splash of color

This was one of my favorite bouquets to do, we mixed lambs ear with dusty miller, white roses, white hydrangea, chocolate cosmos this last picture was taken by me hahahah you can tell the difference a good / great photographer makes!~  Many thanks to Ena Sellers for the first shot and Tamera Lakey for the second image

Laria and Joe are married!!! Bridal by the Sea

Laria and Joe are married in Emeral Isle NC

Laria and Joe were married at the Ocean Club just outside of Emerald Isle NC....we had such a good time with this beautiful couple, there was such a feeling of family at this event.  Both the Bride and the Groom had siblings in their wedding party and friend that they have knows all their lives.  We loved the design and the colors for this event, Laira wanted a ver garden / earthy feel and let us play a bit with design, adding moss and willow here and there for a romantic rustic feel ~

We have to say a big thank you to Ginny Corbet Photography for providing us with these beautiful images....she was totally awesome to work with and we can't wait to be able to share an event with her again!!!

Thanks for taking a look

Design of the Day August 2nd 2012

Amiee and Jason Emerald Isle NC

We had so much fun with Amiee and Jason, they both work in the event business so doing a wedding for "event people" can be so awesome because they have gathered a lot of ideas from different events they have been a part of.  The best way to describe Amiee is bright and sunny ~  Yellow was the perfect color to match her personality.  Jason is an Executive Chef and all the guys that were in the bridal party wore chef coats!  What a cool twist.  They wanted the day to have natural touches so we placed bark and willow in the center pieces to give it more of an Earthy feel.  Amiee let us have some fun with feathers in her bouquet.  We hope you are inspired and enjoy the images from their special day provided by Casey Futrell Photography!!!!

Best,

Rachel
